Back in the day, Maserati was known for making fast sports cars that would fall apart after a while. Now, they only make four door sports sedans. The only two door coupe that is currently made by Maserati is the GranTurismo. Now, they have introduced this concept at Geneva.
It's called the Alfieri and it looks like a classic Maserati with a modern twist. Taking inspiration from the A6 GCS-53 from the 1950's, this would be Maserati's first real two door sports car that they've made in a long time.
Powered by Maserati's iconic 4.7 liter V8, this would put 460 horsepowers into the rear wheels, most likely. But besides the breathtaking exterior, the interior is what really blows things away. There are no luxury features or useless touchscreens inside. Just a steering wheel and some dials. For a sports car, that's all you really need.
At the moment, this is just a concept. But if it were to go into production, it would most likely be taking on the Porsche 911 and Jaguar F-Type. No word on what the future will be for this car, it's just known that this is simply the future of Maserati.
