When Fiat introduced the new Jeep Cherokee last year, many hard core Jeep enthusiasts were not happy. Mainly because it didn't look like a proper Jeep. Despite it's weird looks, the new Cherokee did drive and feel like a proper Jeep. Now, Fiat is introducing another new model. This time, it's the Renegade.
If you look at it and think it looks sort of like a Fiat Panda, you're probably right. The body is based off of the current Fiat Panda with some features from the Fiat 500L thrown in. There is no word yet on what powers this new Jeep or if it will even go into production.Chances are it won't receive any kind welcomings. Mostly because it's just a Fiat Panda made to look like a Jeep. But then again, it may actually handle quite well and be able to play in the fields with the big boys. Until they come up with something more intense like the original Scrambler or the insane Hurricane concept, chances are this wannabe Jeep will just wind up being a laughing stock. We'll see what happens when it's officailly revealed tomorrow at the Geneva Motor Show.
