This year has been one of the worst winters we've ever seen. Some areas have had over 10 feet of snow this winter. Thankfully, spring is finally here. The weather is starting to warm up and the snow is finally melting. Unfortunately, all this snow and salt have had a terrible effect on the roads.
Everywhere you go, there are tons of potholes. Some potholes are deep that you could seriously damage your car. Some potholes take up the hole road, leaving you driving on the wrong side of the road. But while we wait for towns to find the money to pay to fix these potholes, here are some fun activities that will make potholes fun to have around.
Chalk Creations - If you have some road chalk available, you can make some funny faces using potholes as the mouth. You can get road chalk at any craft or activity store.
Fake Hand - If you see a pothole with water and you have a fake hand available, you can really scare some people passing by. If the pothole is dry, you can just fill it up with water, or you can dye the water red to make it look like blood. Fake human hands can be found at most Halloween costume stores or party stores.
Plant Flowers - If you want to make the roads more colorful, you can fill the potholes with dirt and plant some flowers in them. Be careful, some flowers may be run over by cars.
Use as a table - If you're on the run and want to stop and eat, you can just put your food in the pothole and have a little roadside picnic. Chances are the food may have a bit of a tar taste afterwards.
Make Wine - If you're either a wine lover or love to make your own wine, you can use potholes to crush the grapes. You'll then feel what it was like for old fashioned wine makers who crushed grapes with their bare feet.
