When people think of what cars of the future may be like, they usually think of flying cars. Since that is still a hugely complicated project, car manufacturers are looking at simpler things to add to the next car models.
An American car part manufacturer known as Johnson Controls is working on a device that would allow drivers to change the color of their cars interior depending on what mood they're in. If they're having a sad day, they can make the interior blue, or red if they're angry, or even a bright yellow or green for a really good day. The color possibilities are endless. The company is currently working with three R&D centers in Germany, Shanghai, and Michigan to get the technology into the cars of tomorrow.
Along with changing the color of a cars interior, Johnson Controls is also working on allowing the drivers to change the smell of the interior to fit their mood as well. Who knows what kind of wacky odor combinations may be possible in the future, but be on the lookout for cars that allow you to change the interior color in the next few years or so.
