Japan Builds it's own Wooden Supercar

At the moment, there is only one company that is crazy enough to build their cars out of wood. That company would be Morgan over in England. For some reason, some people over in Japan think that wood is the best way to go and have built their own wooden car.

Built by someone named Sada-Kenbi, this little creation is called the Maniwa. Everything is made out of wood, including the wheels. There is room for three people if you can find two other people who don't mind being seen with you in it. Instead of a steering wheel, there are handle bars that you'd normally find on a moped. The only reason it may not have a steering wheel is because it can only hit a top speed of 50 mph. Any faster than that and it'll probably just float away.

There are gullwing doors to get in and out and to keep the car from floating away, there is a big rear wing to keep it on the ground. The company normally specializes in anything wooden and this is the first car they ever built. Since this is the first car they built, there is only one available. But if you would like to buy it, it is for sale at around $44,000. Honestly, who would ever want a car made
entirely out of wood?
