There was a wide array of concepts that debuted at the Detroit Auto Show. Out of the concepts is this coupe by Kia. Most of the cars Kia makes are either wierd looking box cars that gerbils drive or boring family cars. Now they've debuted their version of a sportscar.
With all the cars that Kia makes, it might be hard to think that this would even be a true sportscar. It does have the looks, apart from that front end which looks like something between a fish and Pac-Man
Inside, there are no complicated computer systems or difficult screens to figure out. It's just simple buttons and a giant speedo in front of the steering wheel. It even has rear wheel drive and a manual transmission. Power comes from a tubrocharged four-cylinder that has 315-hp. That all sounds good and if Kia can pull this off, that would be a good competitor to the Subaru BRZ, Scion FR-S, and Mazda MX-5.
At the moment, Kia says that this will never go into production but if history decides to repeat itself, this probably will go into production like all other concepts made by Kia. If they could just fix that front end, this might very well be a good car for Kia.
