Bentley Continental GT3
Bentley unveiled the new Continental GT3, a 600HP 4.0L twin-turbo V8 racer, at Goodwood.
Bentley shed about 2,200 LB to reduce the car's weight to under 2,866 LB, and reconfigured their 4.0L V8 engine to produce 600HP.
For the Continental GT3, Bentley hired M-Sport, a dedicated motorsport company that operates Ford's World Rally program. This is the first time that the two companies cooperated, and more specifically, M-Sport assisted Bentley with detailed design work and production of the first Continental GT3.
Guy Smith, the 2003 Le Mans champion, will be piloting the Continental GT3 at the famous Goodwood Festival of Speed Hillclimb.
