While some car companies like Aston Martin hit the 100 year mark, Lamborghini has hit the halfway point at 50 years in the car making business. What does an insane supercar builder do to celebrate a midlife crisis? Build a car that triggers the inner kid inside.
This birthday present to Lamborghini definitely breaks all the rules in the car book. Apart from the bright orange interior, wheels, and windshield, this is probably the most intimidating looking car ever made. The body is designed to look like an Apache helicopter gunship. With those pointy tips on the front end, I wouldn't want to be in front of this car when it goes by.
Inside, you feel like you're about to takeoff for battle in a fighter plane. The entire inside is designed just for the driver. There's
not even a lace for any passengers. The head-up display along with the oranger wraparound windshield, you feel like your actually about to go flying. There's even a steering wheel that looks like a pilot's wheel. Getting out of this car is an interesting experience on it's own. You have to take the steering wheel off, open the orange dome, stand up and sit on the specially designed spot, then climb down.
The engine is a 600 hp V10. So this car will definitely move. This isn't just any other Lamborghini for people who want to show. This is for people who want the real experience of driving a fast car. The Egoista, or selfish, is something that is just so out of the ordinary, it looks like it would scare anyone that sees it on the road. Like the Veneno, you'd expect this to be quite pricey. Unfortunately, this car is not available for sale. It's just something that Lamborghini built to have fun, celebrate 50 years in the business, and to bring something that will stop people in their tracks and gasp.
