The Arrival of Police Supercars

The Arrival of Police Supercars

The city of Dubai is a city full of millionaires as well as billionaires. Because of this large amount of wealth, many expensive mansions as well as fast cars are everywhere. Since many of the cars being driven are capable of achieving speeds over 200 mph, the Dubai police department is coming with their own way of stopping criminals with fast cars; adding faster cars to the police force.

The cars that are being introduced into the police department include a Lamborghini Aventador as well as a Ferrari FF. There are other cars on the police force including a Chevrolet Camaro, a Mercedes Benz C-Class, and a BMW 5-Series. As it turns out, these cars will not be used for high speed chases. Instead, they will be used during road construction. In a sense, they're just there to make the police force seem more attractive. In essence, this will definitely add more looks to the police force.

Good luck hoping for these types of cars to come to the U.S. police force. Since the main concern is fuel economy, the police force around here are forced to use a Ford Taurus with an Ecoboost engine. If these types of cars were use by police, it would definitely make high speed chases not only shorter, but much more exciting to watch. I would love to see a poice supercar driving through the streets just to see how incredible the car looks plus the noise from the car going by. Unfortunately, more people car more about fuel eonomy than speed, even though speed stops crimes. The majority of cop cars spend more time either idling or patroling at slow speeds. Rarely do cop cars ever engage in high speed chases. So until more criminals start driving faster cars, we're going to have to deal with boring cop cars patrolling the area.
