Introducing the 1100-hp Aeroboat

Introducing the 1100-hp Aeroboat

Of all the types of boats out there, speedboats are probably the most fun to ride in and drive. There are many car companies who have created their own speedboats. These include Mercedes Benz, Ferrari, and even Jaguar. But now, there is a different type of speedboat out there.

It's called the Aeroboat and from the looks of it, it seems like any other speedboat. It's only when you get closer do you notice the differences. Inspired by the Spitfire fighter plane from World War II, this speedboat is designed to make you feel like your piloting a Spitfire, only you're on the water. Everything from the cockpit looking interior to the sleek, aerodynamic body design. This boat is designed to glide on the water.

Then there's the engine that powers it. The engine is the same 27L Rolls Royce V12 that originally powered the Spitfire. Now that the 1100-hp engine is in a boat, you can now speed past at around 75-95 knots, or 86-109 mph for land lovers. That's pretty fast when you're on the water. The Aeroboat will be making its debut at the Salute to Style Show in July, held at The Hurlingham Club in London.
