Engine
This car will be fitted with a 3.7 Liter V6 engine that generates 350 horsepower and 276 lbs-ft of torque. It also comes with a special H-configured exhaust system and optimized Engine Control Module calibration. This combination help to improve acceleration and engine power.
A 6-speed manual gearbox with rev-matching system is connected to the engine. The rev-matching system automatically adjusts and controls the engine speed, and can be deactivated by pushing a button located next to the shifter.
The 2014 NISMO accelerates from 0 to 62 mph in 5 seconds, enabling it to reach a maximum speed of 155 mph. The 370Z Nismo also comes with a high-performance suspension in the 4-link rear and a double-wishbone front design.
Exterior
The 2014 370Z Nismo can be differentiated from other 370Z models easily, since the Nismo features a completely integrated chin spoiler and an extended front nose design. Other notable features include: side sills, a functional rear bumper, which improve and increase down force.
There are four colors you can choose from: Gun Metallic, Pearl white, Solid red, and Magnetic black. Nismo rear spoiler, lower side sills, rear fascia and side mirrors are also offered in dark gray color.
Interior
The interior is elegantly designed and comes with sport seats wrapped in red and black fabric with contrasting red stitching. Other features are: an Alcantara wrapped steering column, leather-wrapped shift knob, aluminum-trimmed pedals, new Nismo tachometer, power door locks, automatic climate control, adjustable front-seat Active head-restraints, and Nissan-Intelligent-Key with push-button start. Optional features are: 2 extra speakers, HomeLink Universal Transceiver, 2 subwoofers and auto-dimming inside mirror.
Because of its intended improved performance, the 2014 Nissan 370Z NISMO will have few rivals. However, it will still have to contend with the likes of the BMW 135i Coupe and the Audi TTS.
