Exterior
The Leon Cup Racer Concept is based on the 5 door standard Leon. The major difference is the extra 15.71 inches added to the cars width. As you might expect the new front façade incorporates an aerodynamic design allowing for optimum air flow.
The side view is dominated by imposing front fenders that include vents that release the heat generated by the 4 piston brake system. The Cup Racer sits on 18 inch racing wheels. In the rear, you will find a diffuser and a 2 phase spoiler extending from the roof.
The Concept is painted in a metallic matte grey accentuated by sharp orange trim visible from every angle.
Interior
Inside, the bucket seats are equipped with HANS head protection and are made of a "moisture control" leather. Of course there is a roll cage, which is standard on all racing vehicles.
The multifunctional steering wheel and a thin film transistor (TFT) monitor helps the driver navigate the track you are on quite effortlessly. The interior is simplistic in nature given the cars intended use.
Rumors have it that the DSG would carry a retail price of $92,000, while the Endurance at $124,500.
