Looking at it right away, this car looks like a 2 door coupe. But when you walk to the other side, it looks more like a sedan. In reality, it actually has 3 doors. It's a combination of a coupe and a sedan. The third door is very well hidden, it takes a while just to find the door handle. If you happen to be sitting in the back, you won't find it very pleasant. Not only is there almost no leg room, there's also no headroom. The only way to get any room is to stick your head out of the sun roof. The best place to have both leg and head is in the front. So make sure you call shotgun before you set off other you're going to be stuck in the back seat feeling miserable and cramped.
Not only is the front seat better for passengers, it's also great if you're the driver. You get all the creature comforts you could ask for, including a big touchscreen where you can access navigation, traffic, weather, XM radio, and even bluetooth. You get hands free calling and cruise control on the steering wheel. You can even start the car from your mobile phone during those cold and chilly days.
Of course, it's not just the little gadgets that make this car good, it's how it drives. You have a 1.6L I4 engine that produces 138 hp, or if you want the turbo charged version, you then get 201 hp. I would definately go for the turbo which packs a much bigger punch than the non turbo version. You can get a manual transmission or a dual clutch automatic with paddle shifters. Now the paddle shfters sound tempting because there's no need to clutch, but there is one little problem. Shifting down if fine, even shifting up is fine until you get to about 40mph. The paddles then don't want to shift any higher. So now you're stuck going 40mph arguing with these stupid adlles that don't want to shift up anymore. Then when you put you're foot to the floor, it switches back to automatic to go faster. So it's pretty pointless having paddle shifter that only work up to 40mph. But despite thst little setback, it still goes pretty quickly. Keep it in automatic mode the whole time, and it will do 0-60 mph in 6.9 sec. Now that may not sound fast, but it will continue on to a top speed of 130 mph.
In the corners, it does like to oversteer a little, which is wierd since most front wheel drive cars do the opposite. But that does make driving it way more fun and exciting. It will also steer and manuever around obstacles very quickly and precisely. You won't have to wait for the steering to respond because it will start turning right when you move the wheel even a tiny bit. So if you want something that's both a coupe and a sedan, look no further. You get great trunk space to fit even the largest of things. If you have a family member or a friend who you want to make miserable, just put them in the back. With a starting price of $17,450 for the regular version and $21,950 for the turbo version, you can pick between a compact car that's either fast or faster, but both equally fuel efficient and not too big.
