On May 18, All Things Jeep held it's 6th annual Go Topless Day in Monson, MA.
It's been six years now since Go Topless Day first began. It was a way for all Jeep enthusiasts, as well as anyone with a convertible, to take their top off and celebrate the end of winter and the beginning of warmer weather. The most memorable part of the first event was the removal of a top off an old XJ. Both Norman Wnuk, the owner of Al Things Jeep, and his friend Scott Hatch spent a few hours and two sawzall blades to take the top off that XJ.
Back then, only a few people showed up on that rainy day to celebrate Go Topless Day. Today, not only are more states celebrating Go Topless Day, but other countries all over the world are taking their tops off to celebrate the start of warmer weather. This event has become one the greatest traditions ever kept and has grown into a worlwide event.
Not only does this mark the sixth year for Go Topless Day, this August marks the 10th anniversery of the start of All Things Jeep. From starting a Jeep company for Jeep and off road enthusiasts, Norman and Jean Wnuk have created a worldwide event that is celebrated by over 100,000 people. Who knows how many next year's event will bring.
