The Cascada comes with a range of powerful engines. It begins with a 1.4 liter Turbo which produces 139 horsepower and achieve a combined 44.8mpg; it is followed by the 2.0 diesel engine with both automatic and manual transmission able to achieve 54.3mpg. The 2 engines come with the START/STOP technology.
Vauxhall has introduced a third member to the engine line up, the 1.6 SIDI Turbo EcoTec engine that gives you 168 horsepower to go with the 207 lb ft of torque.
Exterior
For a convertible, it is well designed. It has a clean profile from top to bottom with no visible traces of the roof top pressed into the silhouette aft of the car. A boundary is marked between the rooftop and the body by a rising line which is highlighted by a chrome strip bordering the cockpit.
Interior
Internally, the car is covered with soft-touch material which is stitched tightly to the shape of the components inside. The seats are trimmed with Nappa-leather which can be ventilated or heated according to the weather conditions.
Entering the car is simple, allowing you to access the rear seats in no time while the electric seat belts automatically secure the occupant. When the roof is down the entire capacity is 9.8 cu ft. but when the roof is up that capacity rises to 13.4 cu ft.
